Donations and Scholarships

Each year, the Newburyport PTO allocates a portion of our budget for scholarships and meaningful contributions. At the start of the year, every new teacher receives a check for classroom supplies, and each principal receives a donation for their student activities account. While the PTO only represents the Bresnahan, Molin and Nock schools, we believe it is important to recognize the achievements of graduating seniors that have spent most of their academic years with us. In addition to financial scholarships, we honor these seniors and inspire our younger students by hosting a “Senior Clap Out.” Seniors dress in cap and gown and visit all three lower schools, walking down their classroom halls one last time to receive hugs from former teachers and a round of applause from their younger classmates.
